Selling my Honda Pilot due to relocation and no longer needing a daily car. This has been our family car for the past 3.5 years, and I originally intended to keep it for as long as possible. One of the main reasons I’m comfortable selling it to another family is that the major repairs and maintenance expected for a vehicle of this age have already been taken care of during my ownership. Most recently, I replaced the engine mount and radiator with original parts, and the repairs are still under warranty. There are a few cosmetic/minor items that the next owner may choose to address: • Check engine light is on • Hood paint has faded • Front grille needs replacement • Front shocks could eventually be replaced, but they are not urgent I’m being upfront about these items rather than presenting the car as perfect. Mechanically, the major age-related repairs have already been addressed, and the car has been maintained as a family vehicle. 8-seater, clean family SUV, and ready for its next owner.
